Description
The title of this composition came about because of the number of surfaces involved in the image and their interactions. The leaves float on the water's surface, below the water's surface, and on the surface of the fish. The main koi floats above the water and casts a shadow on the surface of the paper and the water. A second koi is below the surface. The geometric folding elements creates illusory surfaces
